Kishore Babu has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Kishore started their career at IFCI in 1991, where they worked as a Deputy General Manager until 2003. Kishore then joined KVK Energy & Infrastructure Ltd. as a Vice-President from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they joined Axis Bank as a Senior Vice President from 2008 to 2017. In 2016, Kishore Babu transitioned to Axis Finance Limited, where they held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2016 to 2019, and later became the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) from July 2019 onwards.
Kishore Babu completed their B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 1989. Kishore then pursued a PGDM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 1989 to 1991. In 2017 to 2018, they obtained a Certificate Programme in Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption from INSEAD. Additionally, Kishore Babu holds a CAIIB degree from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (no specific start or end year provided).
