Dirk Zylstra

Dirk Zylstra currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Innovation and Product Development at Axis Lighting since September 2023. Concurrently, Dirk holds a position as a Visiting Professor at Université de Montréal, overseeing final projects in industrial design. Previous roles include Vice President of Design & Development for Specialty Lighting Solutions at Acuity Brands, and Vice President Design at The Luminaires Group, among others. Dirk's extensive industry experience includes leadership roles at Eureka Lighting, Axis Lighting Inc., and various design firms. Dirk earned a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from York University.
