Andrew Sheppard

Andrew Sheppard is a Geohazard Mitigation Specialist at Axis Mountain Technical since July 2022, with a robust background in construction and safety management. Prior to this role, Andrew served as General Superintendent at GeoStabilization International® from March 2018 to July 2022 and held a supervisory position at BAT Construction Ltd. from April 2017 to February 2018. Andrew's experience also includes operations management at Global Rope Access from 2015 to March 2017 and a long tenure at BAT Construction Ltd., spanning from 1992 to May 2015, where Andrew supervised rock stabilization crews specializing in remote access mining. Education credentials include a Level 3 Rope Access Supervisor certification from the International Rope Access Trades Association, along with foundational studies from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians. Educational achievement includes an Advanced Diploma in Gravity from BCHS. Andrew possesses extensive hands-on experience and has worked across various regions including British Columbia, Alberta, NWT, Nunavut, Ontario, and Peru.
