Kat Parra

Kat Parra has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2021, they joined Axis Talent Partners as a Sr Manager of Operations. Prior to this, they worked at DREAM (formerly Harlem RBI) from 2018 to 2021, where they held roles such as Talent Operations and Volunteer Manager, and Talent Operations and Volunteer Coordinator. In these roles, they were responsible for leading department-wide strategy, overseeing volunteer-related functions, and facilitating meetings and professional development. Before that, they worked as a Development Intern at DREAM in 2017. Additionally, Kat has experience from their time at the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, Inc. where they served as Program Director from 2015 to 2017, Assistant Director from 2013 to 2015, and Administrative Assistant from 2008 to 2013. In these roles, they designed and executed programming, managed staff, and ensured compliance with regulatory agencies.

Kat Parra earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Monroe College between 2010 and 2013. Kat later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Analytics and Organizational Leadership at Mercy College from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Kat Parra obtained certifications in Leadership Fellow from Full Potential Ventures in November 2021 and in Developing Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals from Columbia Business School Executive Education in December 2020. Kat also holds a certification in People Analytics from Coursera Course Certificates, although the specific month and year of acquisition are unknown.
