Laura Donald

Laura Donald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura is the Founder and CEO of Axis Talent Partners, an executive search and talent strategy firm focused on equity and inclusivity. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Network Recruitment at Achievement First and as a Program Director at Education Pioneers. Laura also held positions as an Education Director at the Children's Aid Society, a Third Grade Co-Teacher at Harlem Day Charter School, an English Language Development Teacher at RH Dana Elementary School, and a School Guidance Counselor at Lokelani Intermediate School.

Laura Donald attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued Health Ed/PE. Following this, they attended San Francisco State University from 1996 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Health Education. Later, from 2003 to 2005, Laura pursued a Master of Arts degree in Humanities & Social Science Education with a focus on education policy & school reform at New York University.
