Axivate Capital is an entrepreneurial private equity firm that backs international growth and value creation for Dutch and European companies in the fields of Digital Media, e-Commerce, Internet, and Leisure. We invest in innovative, early-stage and more mature companies with hidden potential.

Our team consists of a combination of successful entrepreneurs and experienced professionals who thrive as leaders or senior managers of large firms, their own ventures, as well as Axivate portfolio companies. This means that we recognize the opportunities, the pitfalls, the ups and downs of doing business in all stages of the company life cycle. We tap into our vast experience and deep network to find tomorrow’s winners, and to add true value to these companies.

Axivate Capital partners with fast growing companies that are challenging large markets by means of disruptive business models or innovative technologies. Together, we aim to effectively scale the business and grow into tomorrow’s winners. Although we are a hands-on investor, we do not run the business. We are rather a trusted partner who offers support that is tailored to the specific needs and opportunities of each portfolio company. Each portfolio company has access to our experiences, best practices, sector expertise and network.

Our investment criteria are as follows:
- Seed- stage and early-stage ventures
- Buy-out and business transformation of mature companies
- Scalable business model, international growth potential
- Strong, skilled and committed management team
- Capital commitment between EUR 100.000 and EUR 5 million
- Substantial minority stake or majority stake
