Virginia-Rose Nakahira

Virginia-Rose Nakahira (Loew) is a dedicated educator and literacy interventionist currently employed at AXL Academy since August 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a long-term substitute teacher with Kelly and various positions within Aurora Public Schools, including student teacher, educational assistant, and paraeducator. Virginia-Rose also has a strong background in digital marketing, having worked at KME.digital as a Digital Marketing Content Specialist and as a marketing intern, where responsibilities included managing social media profiles and creating content to enhance SEO. Virginia-Rose's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Western Governors University and a B.A. in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education from George Mason University. Additionally, Virginia-Rose has experience working with non-profits and tutoring elementary students in core subjects.
