Akshat Saini

Akshat Saini is a Data Engineer at Axle Informatics since June 2023, where notable contributions include developing an Angular wrapper for the WebDeepZoomToolkit to analyze health-related datasets for the NIH/NCATS division and integrating an interactive viewer using the OpenSeadragon JavaScript library. Prior to this role, Akshat served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The George Washington University, creating a graphical network of social media correlations with COVID and Inflation data. Akshat's background includes software engineering positions at ACS Solutions and SWIFT, working on FIN messaging applications and migrating front-end processors to RHEL, as well as developing a comprehensive test suite for the EPA at UNICON International. Experience also includes an internship at Delta Dental of Michigan and a college program at IBM Cloud Platform, where Akshat developed a mobile app utilizing Watson's natural language processing API. Akshat holds a Master of Science in Data Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University.
