Al Jacks has extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs in the healthcare industry. Al currently serves as the Vice President of Quality Assurance at axogen. Prior to that, they held leadership positions at various organizations including VERO Biotech, Alimera Sciences, and Cormatrix Cardiovascular. Al has also worked at renowned institutions such as The University of Georgia and Johnson and Johnson. Overall, Al Jacks has over 25 years of experience in ensuring quality and regulatory compliance in the medical field.

Al Jacks holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Business Process Excellence from Johnson & Johnson, DMAIC (Six Sigma) Approach for Conducting Quality Investigations from BD, Finance for Technical Leaders from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Leading After Action Reviews (AARs) from J.M. Huber Corporation, and Six Sigma Green Belt from Johnson & Johnson.
