Carter McCain

Carter McCain has extensive work experience in quality systems compliance and management. Carter currently holds the position of Director Quality Systems Compliance at axogen since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager and Manager in the same department at axogen. Before joining axogen, Carter McCain worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Manager of Viral Vector Services Global Quality Systems. Carter also held various supervisory roles in quality systems and document control at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Earlier in their career, McCain worked at Brammer Bio as a Supervisor of IT Quality, Senior Specialist, Training Specialist, and Document Control Clerk in the Quality Assurance department. Carter started their career at Florida Biologix as a Shipping Clerk and worked as a Rector/Priest at Immanuel Anglican Church.

Carter McCain holds a Master of Theological Studies degree in Church History and Systematic Theology from Southern Methodist University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Philosophy degree in Philosophical Logic and Philosophy of Language at the University of Florida from 2004 to 2006. Carter'sundergraduate studies were completed at the University of North Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, Carter McCain has also obtained certification as a Certified Pharmaceutical GMP Professional (CPGP) from ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2021.
