Okan Gurbuz

Okan Gurbuz has extensive work experience spanning over several years. Okan has held various roles and positions in different companies. Starting in 1997, they served as an Infantry Officer in the Turkish Armed Forces until 1999. After that, they worked as a Sr. Industrial Engineer at National Oilwell Varco from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, they became the Manager of Product Champions at the same company. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as the General Manager at LeTourneau Technologies. In 2011, they joined Valvtechnologies, Inc. as the Director of Production until 2013. Since then, they have been associated with AXON ENERGY SERVICES, starting as the VP of Operations from 2013 to 2016. Then, they served as Vice President of Supply Chain Management from 2016 to 2019, Director of Operations from 2019 to 2021, and Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain from 2021 to 2024. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain.

Okan Gurbuz holds a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which was completed from 2000 to 2002. Okan also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Business from Lakeland University in 2005. Okan'sBachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering was earned from Anadolu University. In addition, Okan has a Black Belt certification in Six Sigma from the American Society for Quality, obtained in 2002. Prior to higher education, they attended Kabataş Erkek Lisesi from 1988 to 1991. Furthermore, Okan Gurbuz holds an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt certification from ASQ - World Headquarters, obtained in December 2004.
