Bear Häon

Bear Häon is an AI Research Scientist specializing in Robotics at Axon, where they currently focus on enabling trustworthy autonomy for extreme environments. Previously, Bear worked as an AI Engineer at AMD and held positions such as AI Safety Fellow at the University of Cambridge and Quad Fellow at Schmidt Futures. With experience in Emerging Technology related to Machine Learning & Robotics for the Australian Government, Bear also served as a Graduate Researcher at Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics with First Class Honors from the University of Sydney and are pursuing a Master's in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the University of California, Berkeley.
