Gaurav Vikash

Gaurav Vikash has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Gaurav is currently working as the Head of Security and Risk in the APAC region at Axon. Prior to that, they served as an IRAP Assessor at Cybernion Pty Ltd. Gaurav has also held positions such as Head of Security and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer at Prezzee, Head of Security and Operations at Prezzee, and Lead Cyber Security Trainer at the Institute of Data. Additionally, they have worked as an Information Security Consultant and IRAP Contributor at Bupa, Cyber Security Manager at AIA Australia, Lead Cyber Security Consultant at National Australia Bank, and Senior Security Analyst at IAG. Earlier in their career, Gaurav worked as a SecOps Team Leader and SecOps Developer at AMP, and as an Operations Team Leader and Software Developer at Aviva.

Gaurav Vikash completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Melbourne Business School from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Telecommunications from Sathyabama University, graduating between 2004 and 2008. Gaurav has also obtained several certifications, including being an ASD Registered Information Security Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) Assessor from the Australian Signals Directorate, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, and an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI. Additionally, they have received various other certifications related to cloud security, risk management, and information systems.
