Hao-Ming Fu

Hao-Ming (Benjamin) Fu is a Research Scientist at Axon since April 2024, previously serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at Nextdoor, where accomplishments included implementing a Transformer for user activity encoding and fine-tuning a large language model to enhance email engagement. Prior experience includes roles at Snap Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer and Research Intern, where research contributions focused on recommendation systems. Hao-Ming led a research team at National Taiwan University on time series representation, publishing findings at RecSys 2020, and interned at IBM, developing convolutional neural networks for PCB defect detection. Hao-Ming holds a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and two degrees from National Taiwan University, including a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Physics.
