James Carus

James Carus is a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Axon since July 2022, with extensive experience in technical coordination and support for major events, particularly in the Olympic Games. Notably, James served as the sole technical coordinator at the Athlete Moment station during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and held similar roles in data and timing at the Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to this, James worked as a Core Technical Support Specialist at Airwave Solutions Limited, providing critical support to the national emergency services communication network. Early career roles included ICT Technician at Warwickshire Police and various positions in technical support and logistics for Olympic Broadcasting Services, complemented by a background in lighting design from the University of South Wales and experience in laboratory testing at Campden BRI.
