Mike Wiecek

Mike Wiecek has had a diverse and successful career since 1994. Mike began their professional journey at Oki Data Americas, Inc. as the Director of Finance, where they managed a staff of six and all financial activity of a $6 million, 40-person subsidiary. Mike designed and built, from scratch, the accounting, purchasing, payroll and billing systems, including oversight and expense controls. Mike also maintained project timelines and calendars, twice bringing new, fully-fledged accounting platforms online ahead of schedule. In 1999, Mike moved to Fidelity Investments as the VP Business Development, where they developed long-term strategy for Fidelity’s internet division and negotiated partnerships with external providers. In 2000, Mike served as President, Treasurer, and Board Member at Harvest Food Co-op, where they directed the operations of a $13 million business with 150 employees, multiple locations, and more than 10,000 members. Mike also oversaw the acquisition, buildout and opening of two new stores and expanded financial controls and monitoring as the budget grew by more than 270 percent. Additionally, Mike wrote two books, "The Downside" and "Full Ratchet", which won the Mysterious Press Award. From 2019 to 2021, Mike worked at Daily Table as the Director, Finance & Administration, where they oversaw finance, accounting, HR, and IT for four locations, 70 employees, and $8 million annual revenue. Mike also charted and opened a new accounting system, accommodating rapid 300% growth. In 2021, Mike joined AXONIS Therapeutics as the Senior Director, Finance & Operations and Director, Finance And Operations.

Mike Wiecek holds an MBA in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Mike also holds a BA in Mathematics from Brown University, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mike also attended a Summer Program in Japanese at Middlebury College.
