Nikita Dashputra

Nikita Dashputra has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They currently hold the position of Lead UX Designer at Axos Bank, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Nikita worked at TransUnion, where they held various roles. From 2008 to 2023, Nikita served as a Sr. Web Consultant and was responsible for leading rebranding efforts, upgrading internal Design Systems, and collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to improve user experience. Before this, from 2019 to 2023, they worked as a Web Consultant, and from 2014 to 2019, they held the position of Sr. Web Designer. Additionally, Nikita has experience as a Web Designer from 2011 to 2014 and as a Technical Analyst from 2009 to 2011, where they automated application processes and provided training and support. They also worked as an Intern from 2008 to 2009, assisting with application environment setup and automation. Prior to TransUnion, Nikita worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009 and as a Software Engineer at Capgemini from 2006 to 2007.

Nikita Dashputra holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from the Usha Mittal Institute of Technology for Women.

In addition to their formal education, Nikita has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications in design thinking, UX design, cloud computing, SEO, and web accessibility. They have completed courses such as "Design for the 21st Century with Don Norman" from The Interaction Design Foundation, "Mastering Design Thinking" from MIT Sloan Executive Education, and "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM. They have also acquired certifications in Figma for UX design from LinkedIn and gained expertise in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux Academy. These certifications reflect Nikita's pursuit of continuous learning and professional development in various areas related to their field of study.
