Phil Fortner has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and quality assurance. Phil started their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at Retail Dimensions, where they focused on building, testing, and maintaining various web integrations and customizing user interfaces.
In 2007, Phil joined Wells Fargo as a Software Quality Engineer, responsible for black box testing web applications and validating loan process testing scripts. Phil worked closely with a team of 22 members and ensured the readiness of release scripts for deployment.
After that, Phil worked as a Software Developer at Smarsh from 2008 to 2010, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of software projects.

Phil also provided guidance on effective test automation to the QA team. Phil's role was unfortunately affected by the pandemic, leading to a layoff in September 2020.

Phil Fortner attended the University of Arkansas Grantham from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science. Phil then continued their education at the same university from 2002 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
