Charles Shinaver III, Ph.D.

Charles Shinaver III, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the fields of clinical psychology and medical science, with extensive experience as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Axsome Therapeutics, Inc., since July 2022, and previously at Syneos Health in partnership with Janssen from November 2018 to June 2022. With a strong background in business development as a Business Development Manager at Pearson and as a Cognitive Consultant, Charles has contributed to advancements in working memory training and sales strategies for pharmaceutical companies. Charles established a private practice as a licensed clinical psychologist and life coach in 2006, and held leadership roles in various healthcare settings including Deaconess Family Practice and Deaconess Psychiatric Hospital. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from DePaul University, an MEd. in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
