Rafael B.

Rafael B. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and technology leadership. Rafael started their career in 2007 as a Software Development Intern at Krieser IT Solutions. Rafael then worked as a Software Development Intern at ADP before being promoted to the position of Software Programmer. In 2010, they joined T&T Engenheiros Associados as a Software Developer, and later moved to Thitem where they continued working as a Software Developer.

In 2013, Rafael joined Axur as a Senior Software Developer and contributed to the company's engineering efforts until 2015. During this time, they transitioned from a legacy system to a containerized microservice architecture as a Software Architect. Rafael also served as a Technical leader and manager for a team of 15+ developers, applying technologies such as Java, Spring Framework, RabbitMQ, Spark, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, JUnit, Groovy, and Python.

Since July 2019, Rafael has been working as the Chief Technology Officer at Axur, responsible for the company's software delivery capabilities, technologies, and technical strategy. Their role also includes supporting and scaling the Engineering team and establishing a cohesive technology architecture to improve internet security.

Rafael B. completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they obtained the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in 2009.
