John Okoro

John Okoro has a solid work experience in the field of environmental health safety and quality. John started their career at Resource Churchill Ltd. in 2011 as an Operations Superintendent. Later, in the same year, they joined ZBJVL/Total as a QA/QC Inspector, where they worked on a pipeline project. In 2012, they joined Oando Plc as a Quality Assurance/Control Engineer and later became a Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor. John'smost recent position was at Axxela, where they worked as a QAQC Lead from 2017 to 2019, then as a QAQC Manager from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Environmental Health Safety & Quality at Axxela.

John Okoro completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Business School Netherlands between 2018 and 2020. Before pursuing their MBA, they participated in the Management Accelerated Program at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in 2016. In 2013, John attended Genesaret Resources, where they studied API 570 and Nebosh IGC. John also obtained a Quality Management System (QMS) certification from Moody International in 2010. Additionally, in 2009 and 2010, they studied at BIT NDT India and earned certifications in AWS-CWI as well as ASNT Level 2 in UT, RT, MPI, PT, and RTFI. John's education journey began at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering between 2000 and 2005.
