Liang Zhao

Liang Zhao is a highly experienced principal software engineer currently working at Axyom.Core since May 2024, focusing on an IKE redirect based Load Balancer for IPsec Gateway. Prior to this role, Liang served as a principal software engineer at Casa Systems from March 2013 to May 2024, specializing in IPsec solutions for gateways. Liang's background includes a tenure as a principal engineer at Airvana from August 2006 to March 2013, overseeing wireless access network software development, along with significant contributions as a senior software engineer on EVDO Rev-B and Rev-A projects. Earlier experiences include software engineering roles at Huawei and TeamTech Digital, LTD., where Liang worked on GTP tunnel and TCP/IP protocol stack development and billing systems for major telecom companies in China, respectively. Liang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
