Lisa Smith is a highly experienced nursing professional with a focus on post-anesthesia care and a strong background in diverse clinical settings. Currently serving as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse at Aya Healthcare since January 2022, Lisa has excelled as a preceptor, guiding new nurses while providing high-quality patient care. Prior experience includes significant roles at Ochsner Health and various capacities within the US Navy, including Lead Medical Supervisor and Senior Medical Representative. Lisa's clinical expertise encompasses a wide array of surgical procedures, coupled with exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. In addition to nursing practice, Lisa has held leadership positions such as Director of Nursing and CPR Instructor, contributing to the education and training of healthcare professionals. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph.
