Jonathan Yovell

Jonathan Yovell has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical industries. Jonathan is currently the VP Clinical Development at Ayala Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Medical Director at Ayala Pharmaceuticals from April 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Ayala Pharmaceuticals, Jonathan was the Senior Medical Director at Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd. from November 2018 to April 2021. Jonathan also served as the Medical Manager, Oncology at Merck Group from January 2017 to November 2018.

Jonathan has held leadership positions at various other companies as well. Jonathan was the VP R&D and Clinical Informatics at AposTherapy from 2014 to January 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the VP Product Development & Support and GM for Israel Operations at PeriGen from 2009 to 2014. Jonathan also gained experience at E&C medical intelligence, where they held multiple roles including Director, Medical Division from 2005 to 2009, Medical Project Manager from 2002 to 2005, and Medical Developer from 2000 to 2002.

Jonathan Yovell obtained their MD in Medicine from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the years 1993-2000. Jonathan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, from 2010-2012.
