Yelena Lalazar

Yelena Lalazar (Blumshtein) has a strong background in clinical operations and trial management. Yelena is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Ayala Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations from 2020 to 2022. Previously, Yelena held various roles at Novartis, including Executive Global Trial Manager, Expert Global Trial Manager, Senior Global Trial Manager, and Senior Clinical Trial Manager from 2016 to 2020. Before their time at Novartis, they worked at the Pituitary Center, Mount Sinai Health System as a Clinical Manager and Clinical Specialty Coordinator from 2014 to 2016. Yelena's career in the medical field began at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where they served as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator from 2012 to 2014. Yelena started their professional journey at Hadassah Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department from 2004 to 2012.

Yelena Lalazar (Blumshtein) obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Management and Economy from the same university, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011. Yelena also holds additional certifications as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) from Bioforum Ltd. and as a Registered Nurse from both the New York State and the Ministry of Health Israel.
