Jianhua Li

Jianhua Li is an experienced optical engineer with a strong background in designing and optimizing various optical systems across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer at Ayar Labs since June 2022, Jianhua has previously held similar senior roles at MirraViz and DigiLens Inc., where skills in designing, simulating, and characterizing optical systems for applications in brightness enhancement, heads-up displays, and AR/VR were honed. Additional experience includes prototyping imaging and illumination systems at Avegant Corp. and leading LED testing teams at Bridgelux and LED Engin, Inc. Jianhua holds a Master of Science in Applied Optics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Optoelectronics from Zhejiang University.
