Kirby Long

Kirby Long is a senior environmental graphic designer who creates valuable wayfinding and environmental branding solutions for academic, corporate, and cultural institutions. Thanks to his 16 years of experience, Kirby has developed a talent for working on multiple projects from the original design through the development and implementation phase.

As a designer, Kirby enjoys using his creativity to create added value for clients, surprising them with positive results beyond their expectations. He loves finding new opportunities for interactive, three-dimensional signage systems and graphics that celebrate a client’s brand and unique story in the built environment.

Some of his past work includes projects at the National Aquarium, Grinnell University, Towson University, the American University of Bahrain, and the Smithsonian Institution. He has also worked in planning mixed-use developments and innovation districts, including Providence’s Point225 and the Charlotte Knowledge Community.
