Tim Burkett

Tim Burkett is the firm’s director of operations, with a background in chemical engineering and more than 25 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry. With interests in financial management, project partnering, and risk management, Tim focuses on operational leverage, cohesion, and process optimization to improve client experience and project deliverables.

Tim is passionate about leadership development and coaching, seeking the best in his employees and helping them to grow and find a sense of purpose. He believes in the importance of transparency about project and firm performance so that everyone can learn from experiences and apply that wisdom moving forward. He finds it most rewarding to watch the creative process at work and to see ideas come to reality in the built form.

Tim is a member of Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Board of Directors, which works to provide fundraising and support for those living with diabetes. He participates in the Chief Operating Officers Round Table.
