Tomokazu Sakai

Tomokazu Sakai has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tomokazu began their career as a System Integration Engineer at Nokia in 2000, and later transitioned to the role of Research Engineer. In 2008, they joined Intel Corporation as a Field Application Specialist, providing technical support for network technologies in Android tablet projects. During their time at Intel, they also served as a Technical Marketing Engineer, managing client PC and tablet OEM accounts. In 2016, Sakai joined Ayla Networks as a Solutions Engineer, where they played a key role in establishing the company's presence in Japan and implementing their IoT platform for local manufacturers. Tomokazu provided pre-sales support and consultation to secure deals with major Japanese manufacturers, as well as ongoing support for existing customers.

Tomokazu Sakai obtained their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from The University of Electro-Communications, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued higher education and earned their Master's degree in Information System Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.
