Peter Leport

Peter LePort, M.D. has extensive experience in the medical field, particularly in surgical practice and weight loss management. Currently serving as a Member of the Board at SE Healthcare Quality Consulting and the Ayn Rand Institute, Peter has also held roles as President and Medical Director at Lite & Smart DIMENSIONS Weight Loss and LePort Surgical Associates since April 1984. In addition to these positions, Peter is Chairman of the Board at LePort Schools and Medical Director at both the MemorialCare Center for Obesity at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and the Surgical Weight Loss program at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, roles held since 2002. Peter holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Surgery from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, earned between 1971 and 1982.
