Yvonne Bredenhann

Yvonne Bredenhann has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Yvonne is currently the Group Chief Financial Officer at aYo Holdings, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sanlam for many years, where their roles included Executive Finance for Sanlam Pan Africa strategic ventures, Head of Finance for SanlamConnect (Sanlam Life), Head of Finance for Group Technology and Information, Financial Manager for Strategic Business Development, Solutions Manager for Financial Design, and Risk Manager. Yvonne also worked as an Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory, Economics & Policy, where they gained experience in audit, internal audit, general computer controls review, business continuity planning, and corporate governance.

Yvonne Bredenhann obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Stellenbosch Business School, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Yvonne then pursued further education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 1998, earning a B.Compt honours degree in accounting and auditing. Later on, they completed a Master's degree in Financial Management at the University of Cape Town from 2007 to 2010.
