Burak AKINCI

Burak AKINCI has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and positions. Burak is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at ayoba since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at BiP from November 2020 to September 2021.

Burak AKINCI has a long association with Turkcell, starting in 2007. During their tenure at Turkcell, they held various roles including Digital Communication & Advertising Services Director from July 2016 to September 2021. In this position, they were responsible for managing the digital communication and advertising services portfolio, overseeing both B2C and B2B digital products and services. Burak led a team of 50 employees and played a crucial role in generating significant revenue for the Digital Services and Solutions function.

Before their role as the Director, Burak AKINCI served as the 4.5G Program Coordinator and Marketing Strategies & Excellence Manager from June 2015 to July 2016. Burak'sprimary responsibility was overseeing the successful launch of LTE in Turkey, leading a cross-functional program with over 400 participants from different functions.

Burak'sexperience at Turkcell also includes roles as a Segment Marketing Manager, Prepaid Revenue Manager, 3G & Mobile Internet Manager, Consumer Products Marketing Manager, and Senior Marketing Specialist, showcasing their versatility in various marketing and management capacities.

Before joining Turkcell, Burak AKINCI worked as a Brand Manager at Dermalogica from March 2005 to May 2007. Burak also co-founded Pera Machinery Textile Trade and Marketing Co. in January 2001, where they served until March 2005.

Prior to their foray into the telecom and marketing sectors, Burak AKINCI worked as a Ticari Portföy Yetkilisi at Garanti Bank from September 1999 to December 2000.
