Kirk Daniels

Kirk Daniels has over 20 years of work experience in the field of web development and design. Kirk currently works as a Frontend Developer at ayoba. Prior to that, they were the Lead Frontend Developer at Riverr | LAB Group | SA from September 2020 to October 2021. Kirk has also worked as a Team Lead and Frontend Developer at Lab | Digital Agency from May 2016 to October 2021. Kirk has experience as a Frontend Developer at Forge Technologies Africa from August 2015 to April 2016 and at Omni Studio from May 2014 to July 2015. Kirk started their career as a Web Designer at EOH MC Solutions from January 2012 to April 2014. Kirk has also worked as a Designer at Airborne Consulting from January 2010 to January 2012 and as a Web/Online Solutions Developer at DFA Solutions from October 2008 to July 2010. Prior to that, they owned their own business, NetraLINK Development Services, from January 2006 to October 2008. Kirk's earliest work experience includes roles as a Design n Development Project Coordinator and Branch Manager/DnD Project Manager at NetraLINK Internet Business Solutions Provider from June 1999 to December 2005.

Kirk Daniels has a diverse education history, including both higher education and certifications.

In 1987, Kirk completed their Matric degree with a focus in Mathematics at St Columba's High School. Kirk then pursued a Partially Completed degree in Industrial Design at Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1993 to 1996.

In 2008, Kirk attended the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town where they obtained an AIM degree in Business Management.

In 2012, Kirk enrolled in the Graduate School of Business - University of Cape Town and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

In 2019, Kirk decided to enhance their skills in User Experience Design and took a Short Course at the University of Cape Town.

In addition to their formal education, Kirk also obtained certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. In 2021, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Web Accessibility from edX.
