Bill Nguyen

Bill Nguyen has extensive work experience in finance and project management. Bill is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Aypa Power since June 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Project Finance at Diode Ventures from March 2020 to June 2023. Bill also worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Alma Global Infrastructure from July 2017 to December 2019. Bill has held various roles in the finance industry, including Vice President of Finance at 8minutenergy Renewables, LLC from May 2016 to April 2017, and Managing Director of Utility Scale Project Finance at SunEdison from January 2011 to May 2016. Bill began their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG from September 2005 to January 2008, and later worked as the Manager of Transactions and Restructuring at KPMG from January 2008 to December 2010, where they specialized in M&A, due diligence, and financial modeling.

Bill Nguyen earned their Bachelor of business administration degree in business from the Schulich School of Business - York University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Bill then went on to pursue a Chartered Accountant degree from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from 2005 to 2008. Bill further enhanced their expertise by earning a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) degree from the CFA Institute, which they completed from 2008 to 2010 with a focus on Finance.
