Brittany Barnowsky

Brittany Barnowsky has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Brittany currently holds the position of Director of Commercial Operations at Aypa Power, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at LCRA as an Energy Analyst- Lead from December 2019 to March 2023. Before joining LCRA, they were a Short term trader-NE at Just Energy from September 2018 to October 2019. Brittany also has experience at Talen Energy, where they served as an East Asset Manager from March 2017 to September 2018. Brittany held various roles at Talen Energy, including Trader Associate: Eastern Trading from June 2015 to March 2017, and Energy Marketing and Trading Staff Analyst: Short term trading from September 2014 to June 2015. Additionally, they worked at PPL Corporation as an EMT Analyst: Intermediate Power Trading from May 2012 to September 2014. Brittany also had roles as a Student Ambassador and Finance and Treasury Intern at PPL Corporation. Lastly, Brittany worked as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University from August 2011 to May 2012.

Brittany Barnowsky completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Energy Business and Finance from Penn State University. Brittany attended the university from 2008 to 2012. In November 2016, they obtained the PJM Operator Certification from PJM Interconnection.
