Efe Ijevu, P.Eng., PMP

Efe Ijevu, P.Eng., PMP has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at McMaster University. In 2015, they also worked as a Customer Service Assistant for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club. In 2016, they worked as a Jr. Application Programmer for the Ministry of Community and Social Services.

In 2017, Efe worked as an Assistant Coach at Hatch Canada, and in 2018, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant for the Engineering Design and Graphics course at McMaster University. Also in 2018, they started working at H.H. Angus & Associates Ltd. as a Junior Electrical Engineering Designer/Project Manager. In this role, they designed electrical distribution and systems in various commercial, mission critical, transit, and hospital facilities. Efe also performed contract administration tasks to facilitate project progress.

Efe's responsibilities at H.H. Angus & Associates Ltd. expanded in 2020 when they became a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer/Project Manager. Efe successfully managed multiple electrical projects, demonstrated strong leadership skills, and prepared electrical drawings and specifications.

In 2023, Efe joined WindAid Institute as a Renewable Energy Volunteer. Efe built and installed a wind turbine, performed hands-on design work, and surveyed the installation location.

Also in 2023, Efe began working as a Project Manager at Aypa Power. Overall, Efe's work experience demonstrates their expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and renewable energy.

Efe Ijevu, P.Eng., PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University. Efe attended McMaster University from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, Efe Ijevu attended Bronte College of Canada in 2012 and Presentation National High School from 2006 to 2012.

In addition to their educational background, Efe Ijevu has obtained several certifications. Efe is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and received this certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in February 2023. Efe is also a certified Rural Electrification Project Engineer, having obtained this certification from the WindAid Institute in January 2023. Furthermore, Efe Ijevu holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in October 2022.
