Jacqueline Sun, CPA, CGA

Jacqueline Sun has a diverse work experience starting from 2008. Jacqueline began their career as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Honda of Canada Manufacturing. Jacqueline then moved on to work as a Junior Accounting Clerk at Mike Inamdar, CA. Later, they joined ClubLink as a Sales Audit Associate. Jacqueline also worked at Georgian College as a Learning Skills Assistant/Peer Tutor. In 2010, they became a part of ClubLink again, this time in the role of Club Analyst Support and later as a Corporate Analyst. In 2013, they joined Spectrum Health Care as a Senior Accountant. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at IQ Office Suites, initially as a Senior Accountant and then as a Controller. Currently, they hold the position of Controller at Aypa Power, starting from 2020.

Jacqueline Sun, CPA, CGA has a diverse education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Jacqueline'seducation journey began in 2002 at Cardinal Carter C.H.S, where they obtained their OSSD. In 2006, they attended York University, where they pursued Business Administration and Economics. Next, from 2007 to 2010, Jacqueline enrolled at Georgian College, where they earned an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, which also included a three-year co-op experience.

In 2012, Jacqueline embarked on the CGA Program of Professional Studies, a comprehensive program that provides training for prospective Certified General Accountants. This program marked a significant step in their journey towards becoming a certified accountant. Additionally, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Laurentian University, where they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Building upon their educational foundation, Jacqueline obtained their CPA, CGA certification in January 2018, which was awarded by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario). This certification further solidifies their expertise in the field of accounting and showcases their commitment to professional development.
