Paul Hudson

In September 2017, Mr. Hudson was retained (as president of a wholly owned subsidiary) to serve as an advisor to Blackstone. In this role, Mr. Hudson’s recent focus has been on seeking opportunities to invest capital behind emerging themes within the sector.

Formative experiences for Mr. Hudson include serving as Chairman of the Texas Public Utility Commission, as Director of Policy to the Texas Governor, on the ERCOT Board of Directors, as Secretarial appointee to the DOE’s Electricity Advisory Committee, as an independent director to non and for profit board of directors, and on a variety of NARUC and intergovernmental committees.

Paul has spent over two decades working to develop effective, robust, and reliable power sector infrastructure and is both fascinated by, and interested in, supporting the extraordinary dynamism within the industry.
