Swaraj Jammalamadaka

Swaraj Jammalamadaka is a recognized leader and a subject matter expert in the energy and utilities industry. As Aypa’s Chief Technology Officer, Swaraj is responsible for extracting value through EPC, Transmission & Commercial Analytics, Resource and IT streams. Prior to joining Aypa, Swaraj was Vice President of Transmission & Market fundamentals at Apex Clean Energy, where he was responsible for delivering strategic growth through Grid Modeling, Fundamental Analysis & Risk Management. Swaraj was also part of devising corporate strategy related to the development, financing, marketing of over 4GW of utility scale renewable energy projects.

While at Apex, Swaraj founded Swatt Energy, a consulting and advisory services company with clients in Asia, the Middle East and North America. Swatt Energy has supported project transactions totaling over $2B.

Prior to Apex, Swaraj held multiple engineering positions at Midcontinent ISO in Generation Interconnection & Transmission Planning and was involved in long term transmission infrastructure planning with multiple investor-owned utilities in the Midwest.

Swaraj holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Power Systems & Control Engineering.
