Carol Jenkins

Director Of Partnership & Employability at Ayrshire College

Carol Jenkins has a diverse work experience. Carol started their career in 2005 as a Senior Advisor at The Scottish Government, where they worked until 2007. After that, they joined Kilmarnock College, initially as the More Choices More Chances Manager from 2007 to 2009, then as the Head of Widening Access & Participation from 2009 to 2011, and finally as the Head of Access & Inclusion from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Carol moved to Ayrshire College, where they held the position of Director of Access & Inclusion until 2015. Carol then became the Director of Partnership & Employability at the same college.

Carol Jenkins attended the University of Glasgow from 1982 to 1987, where they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) (Honours) degree in French & German. Later, they pursued a Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE) at the University of Stirling, although the exact dates of their enrollment are unknown.
