Iain Massey

Iain Massey is an experienced lecturer and director in the field of music and music technology, currently working at Ayrshire College and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland since 2014 and 2013, respectively. Iain Massey has held a long-term role as Musical Director for Glasgow Studio Orchestra since 1997 and previously lectured at the University of Strathclyde from 1993 to 2014, where Iain Massey served as Course Director for the BA in Applied Music. Iain Massey's background includes extensive inservice training and expertise in music technology procurement through the role as Director at Sound Counsel since 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Learning and Teaching in the Performing Arts from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a BA in Music Performance (viola) from RSAMD.
