Yash Sarin

Yash Sarin has experience working as a Software Engineer Backend at Ayu Health Hospitals from January 2023 to the present. In this role, they developed services using Elastic Index and Aggregations to track referral agents, performed migrations to support existing agents.

Prior to that, Yash worked as a Software Engineer at Vedantu from July 2021 to December 2022. During this time, they designed and implemented a new demo allocation mechanism using Spring Boot, Redis, and Kafka that increased the number of completed demos by 10%. Yash also monitored API performance in Datadog and optimized a demo-slots API using Redis, reducing latency from 1.8 seconds to 600 milliseconds.

Yash Sarin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Shivaji College from the years 2016 to 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology in Guwahati from 2019 to 2021.
