Rebecca Brunty is an accomplished immigration attorney with extensive experience in representing victims of crime in immigration matters. Currently serving as an Immigration Staff Attorney at Ayuda since October 2020, Rebecca conducts intakes and assists with victim witness orientation. Previously, Rebecca held various roles, including Student Attorney at the AU WCL Immigrant Justice Clinic, where representation in removal proceedings was provided, and Director of the WCL IRAP, managing the chapter and communicating with national organizations. With a strong background in immigration law, including internships at Human Rights First and Just Neighbors, Rebecca has demonstrated a commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations and promoting legal reform in immigration policy. Rebecca earned a Doctor of Law degree from American University Washington College of Law and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Louis University.
