David Bustabad

David Bustabad currently serves as the Head of the Tenerife Project at Plastic Energy Ltd., focusing on chemical recycling of plastics since March 2016. In addition, David holds the position of Patrono at Fundación Santa Cruz Sostenible, a role commenced in June 2018. David was a founding partner at Ewaste Canarias S.L. from October 2006 until August 2022 and served as Vocal at Cámara de Comercio Santa Cruz de Tenerife from June 2014 to June 2022. From October 2018 to February 2022, David acted as Consejero suplente in the Consejo Económico y Social de Canarias and presided over the Grupo de Trabajo del Plan de Apoyo al Emprendimiento, which supports entrepreneurship, self-employment, and SMEs in the Canary Islands. Academically, David holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de La Laguna and completed a PMD in Business Administration and Management at Esade from 2007 to 2008.
