He is a lawyer and mediator, graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1992. He has practiced law on his own since 2002. Previously, he combined legal practice in various offices with commercial and administrative management in the banking and insurance sectors.
He is a volunteer reservist, currently employed as Alférez de Navío, of the Spanish Navy since 2007, for which when he is activated he performs work as a Justice assistant.
He was manager of Urban Planning in the City Council of Castro Urdiales between May and December 2005.
He is a member of the 'Cantabria Nuestra' Cultural Association. Between 1996 and 2003 he was part of the Board of Directors of the Casa de Cantabria in Madrid as deputy secretary.
