Assaf Yavnai

Assaf Yavnai has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Assaf started their career at NSG Tech, where they worked as a microprocessor developer, focusing on developing software and hardware for the medical industry. After that, they joined Zend tech inc. as a software engineer. Assaf then worked as a freelance web and backend developer at deep medium and built various websites and applications using PHP, HTML, and JavaScript frameworks like Codeigniter and jQuery.

In 2007, Assaf joined Sun Microsystems as an embedded software engineer and team leader. During their time there, they worked with major mobile companies like Samsung, LG, and HTC, embedding, porting, and optimizing Java ME VM's on cellular embedded platforms. Assaf also led and managed engineering teams from different countries.

After their stint at Sun Microsystems, Assaf started their own business, Assaf- Yavnai Sustainable Designs, where they worked as a permaculture designer until 2011. Assaf then joined Oracle as a senior software engineer and architect, specializing in software development and architecture.

In 2013, Assaf transitioned into freelance work as a developer and consultant. Assaf implemented complex software systems for clients and provided consulting services on project-wide issues, including project management, technology selection, and cloud integration. Assaf worked on projects like designing and implementing a medical imaging system for Thales Inc. and CMT Ltd. and serving as a strategic product consultant for ToyToyToy Ltd.

Assaf briefly worked at Bravo.ai as a product manager before starting their own project, where they served as a product manager, VP R&D, and project manager for a core product. Assaf managed a global distributed team of engineers from Israel, Ukraine, and India.

Most recently, Assaf has been working at Ayyeka as a technical product manager. Assaf is responsible for defining the company's strategy and long-term product roadmap to support sales, customer needs, and internal requirements. Ayyeka is an industrial IoT company that provides full-stack solutions for industrial customers with telemetry needs.

Overall, Assaf Yavnai has gained extensive experience in project management, product development, software engineering, and IoT solutions across various industries.

Assaf Yavnai is an autodidact, having pursued education independently without attending any formal academic institution. Assaf has not obtained any degrees or certifications related to a specific field of study. However, in February 2016, they obtained a Duolingo Portuguese Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) certification from the institution Duolingo.
