Danny A.m. Meire

Danny A.M. Meire serves as the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer at AZ Alma since July 1989, where additional roles include Intern Auditor for NIAZ and Radiologist. Meire has been involved with the Vereniging van de Artsen van AZ Alma as a Radiologist since June 1989 and serves as an Auditor for Qualicor Europe since 2015. Active in professional organizations, Meire holds the title of Honorary Member of the Royal Belgian Society of Radiology at KBVR SRBR since 2011, and has served as a council member for the ORDE DER artsen PROV.RAAD VAN OOST VLAANDEREN from October 2016 to December 2023. From 1991 to 2010, Meire was part of the permanent bureau of the Royal Belgian Society of Radiology, including a presidency role. Additional experience includes a consultant position in Radiology at UZ Gent from 1989 to 1997. Educational credentials include a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging (2008) and an NMR certificate (1997), alongside a specialization in Radiodiagnosis.
