A native Tucsonan, Lisa was new to the print industry when she came to AZ Litho in 2008. As a child she and her cousins used to “help” her grandfather work on his antique Gordon printing press, so the smell of ink smelled a little like coming home.
Of course, print technology has advanced a lot since printer blocks and wheel-powered presses! She appreciates the relationship between art, craftsmanship, and technology that printing requires.
Her favorite parts of her work at AZ Litho are getting to know her customers and their specific needs and helping them to translate that into final finished products and finding ways to communicate the complicated processes of production back to customers to make sure that they all get what’s needed.
