Ingrid Martens

Ingrid Martens has been serving as a Dokter geneeskunde at AZ Sint-Lucas Gent since July 1993. In March 2017, Ingrid Martens took on the role of co-leader for a humanitarian mission to Tigray, Ethiopia, with REVIVE Vzw, focusing on providing medical assistance to underserved populations facing severe cases of uterine prolapse. During this mission, Ingrid Martens and the team successfully helped 16 women, enabling their reintegration into society. Ingrid Martens holds a degree in Dokter in de Genees-heel-verloskunde, specializing in Gynaecologie verloskunde, from Rijksuniversiteit Gent, where education was completed between 1981 and 1993.
