Koen Liekens

Koen Liekens is an experienced orthopedic surgeon currently practicing at AZ St-Lucas Gent since November 2012, specializing in hip surgery and traumatology. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Orthopaedics and Trauma at University College Hospital London from August 2011 to November 2012, with expertise in hip and knee arthroplasty and arthroscopy, revision arthroplasty, sports surgery, and orthopedic trauma surgery. Koen Liekens completed orthopedic training at UZ Gent and AZ Sint Jan Brugge Oostende AV, and holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ghent University, attained in 2004. Early education was completed at Sint-Jozef-Klein-Seminarie Sint-Niklaas from 1991 to 1997.
